Once - A monologue for the screen

I wrote and directed this short film as an excercise in writing a monologue for the screen as part of a larger body of work by Brighton based film collective, Octopus Film. The goal was to tell short visual stories with a series of Monologues. These will be screened for public viewing at Fabrica on 18 September 2018. The story here is about a woman who gets away with murdering her husband. She struggles with feelings of guilt but enjoys a new found sense of freedom. The music was inspired by vintage Italian TV themes - a bit like an old 1960's spaghetti commercial!
