Maggie - A monologue for the screen

A jaded performer with a dark secret, prepares for their “big moment", a process that repeats for eternity. Maggie is a short film drama produced as an excercise in writing a monologue for the screen.

Written by Fintan Shevlin, I shot and directed the piece as part of a larger body of work by Brighton based film collective, Octopus Film, where the goal was to tell short visual stories through a series of Monologues.

The complete collection of 12 works will be screened for public viewing at Fabrica, Brighton on 18 September 2018 as part of the 8th annual Scalarama celebrations.
